Costa Teguise
Costa Teguise is considered to be one of the more exclusive resorts on the Island. Lying 4-miles/7km northeast of Arrecife, this resort is built around an excellent sandy beach. Whilst Costa Teguise has its own bars, shops, supermarkets and caters for all the needs of holidaymakers, the relaxed atmosphere and general attitude of the community ensures that this resort will never be over-crowded.

The buildings in Costa Teguise generally abide by the Island 'rules' set up by César Manrique and offers low-level, traditional white buildings, with green, blue or natural woodwork.

Costa Teguise enjoys excellent water sports and is home to the Islands only Water Park and 18-hole golf course.

Arrecife
By the very nature of the fact that Arrecife is the Capital, this resort is extremely busy and, incredibly, houses more than half of the Island's 80,000 population. Arrecife offers very good shopping and the harbour is home to the largest fishing fleet in the Canary Islands. The literal translation of Arrecife is 'reef', indicating that offshore reefs safely protect the surrounding harbours.
