Cueva de los Verdes (The Green Caves)

Cueva de los Verdes are one of the major tourist attractions on the Island. The tour guide will escort you through a natural warren of tunnels, created by the volcanic eruption of Corona. The caves run for many miles, but the tour will involve about a half mile of walking.

This has to be on your 'must-see' list as the caves are truly awesome with wonderfully atmospheric lighting. The tour will end with a spectacular optical illusion, which - alone - is well worth the entrance fee.
